Giveaway: Veronica’s Treats Cake Pops

We’ve got a most delicious giveaway treat for you this week, in the shape of a yummy cake pop! Never had a cake pop before? Well you are missing out trust me, they are amazing little treats on a stick. Cake pops have been “popping” up everywhere these days, they are definitely a hot and delicious trend right now. So I’m excited this week to be partnering up with Veronica’s Treats, a bakery & confectionery company from New England, to give away a one dozen bouquet of decadent cake pops to 3 winners. Yes a dozen little cake pops, how cool is that?!

The cake pops in our giveaway come from a selection of their popular classic designs (as seen in the photo) with a mix of chocolate and white chocolate creations. They also have a large assortment of other cake pop creations like more sprinkle covered, sesame street characters, mini cupcakes and even wedding favors! Veronica’s Treats has been making mini cakes and cake truffles since 2003 and recently got into making cake pops as a natural next step. They also specialize in cookies, other treats and edible gifts.

Having tried the cake pops myself I can honestly say they are delicious, well more than delicious, they are downright dangerous! I’m glad that all I had was the one little pop because I would have been tempted to eat more. One is enough though, they are very rich and very sweet, in a good way of course. For a chocolate lover, this was truly divine.

The cake on a stick idea really is a brilliant  concept. It’s everything you love about cake all rolled up in one little pop, you get enough of  taste to satisfy without going overboard (well as long as you don’t eat the whole dozen that is!) One could even stretch to say this is almost a diet friendly concept (at least in the sense of portion control).
